Winter fun in Mrs Baker & Mrs Keaveney's nursery room!
Over the month of January, the boys and girls have been learning all about the topic of winter! We have been thinking about freezing and melting with ice in our water tray and seeing it again all over our playground. Some of our animals even got trapped inside the ice!! Many of us are starting to form letters and enjoyed writing our names in the pretend snow! We are all independent at snack time with pouring our own drinks and buttering our toast. We went on an expedition to the North Pole and slept in an igloo!! For snack we tried some carrots and cucumbers and even made some funny faces with them! We have also had quite a few pieces of birthday cake!!
Mrs Baker and Mrs Keaveney think that our favourite activity has been the mouldable chocolate, because it is so messy and smells delicious!! See you on Monday boys and girls to start to think about our new topic!
