As part of our Rainforest topic, Allan from Wee Critters came today, and showed us some of the smaller creatures that often inhabit the desert and rainforest areas. He told us such interesting facts. We were totally amazed by the creatures he brought, from the milk snake, to the tenrec (ask us about this mammal!), to the tarantula (our teacher was not amazed by the latter! 🕷😱)
The visit enriched our experience and understanding of The Rainforest, its inhabitants, and the dangers they all face due to the effects of events such as deforestation.
Our teacher also brought in treats to create an edible bug craft! These were a lot tastier than the real thing ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ˜‚
