We all brought a container to fill with coloured water. We then put the containers into the freezer overnight. The next morning the water had turned to ice! We brought the ice out of the containers and watched what happened to the ice in our classroom. We discovered that most of the ice had melted by lunchtime because of the heat in our classroom. However, some really thick ice lasted until home time. We had lots of fun and now understand about a little more about melting ice in the Arctic and Antarctic.
