Thanks so much to Paula, the paramedic for visiting us today. She showed us lots of interesting pieces of equipment and explained what they were used for. We really enjoyed pretending to be patients. We had our blood pressure checked and got to try on a neck brace and leg immobiliser. We learnt lots of new facts and now understand the job of a paramedic. Our favourite part was getting to go into the ambulance. We got to use the special lift to get in! Finally we saw the flashing lights and heard the sirens. It was so loud! What a fantastic morning we had.
