Pets Measure
On Friday as part of our Pets topic, we decided to explore non-standard measure a little further by measuring our pet teddies we had brought in for our Topic table. We talked about what we could use to measure but Harry reminded us all that whatever we choose it has to be the same and the same size. Ashtyn also commented that if we use the same unit of measure we would get a fair measurement. We used cubes, straws, Lego, cuisenaire, measuring worms and blocks to measure the length and height of our pet teddies. We recorded our measurements on our whiteboards. Our teacher reminded us that we always label our measurements with the unit of measure we use. We were so busy we didn’t hear the bell for lunch ðŸ˜ðŸ‘ðŸ»
