There wasn’t much fun in the sun this week but that didn’t stop the boys and girls in Mrs Wylie's class!! We splashed in the puddles, slid in the mud, sang in the rain and cooked in the mud kitchen.
We learnt about the ingredients needed to make pancakes. We helped make the batter and watched as Mrs Wylie cooked them. We enjoyed some yummy pancakes for snack with lemon juice or maple syrup. We also enjoyed making our own pancake batter in the water tray. We even had a go at flipping the pancakes at our dough table.
We have also been working hard on our positional language. We enjoyed playing, ‘Spider in the Kitchen’ on the computer. This also helped develop our fine motor skills as we used the mouse to click on ’yes’ and ‘no’!
