P6/7McM finished their Victorian topic today with some practical Numeracy activities. They had the opportunity to look at some Victorian artefacts and then decide what 3D shape it was. They also had to discuss its properties and choose the corresponding net. The pupils also used polydron to help them become Victorian inventors – they had to create a new style of ‘chocolate box’ that could have been displayed during the Great Exhibition.
