P6/7McM enjoy a visit from Ulster Wildlife
23rd Feb 2017
Monika from the Ulster Wildlife Foundation visited P6&7 pupils to talk about ‘Energy in Nature’. She began with a presentation on different types of energy sources and then the pupils had to work in a small group to rank them from ‘best’ to ‘worst’. The pupils then became engineers as they had to decide the best place to build their energy sources. Finally they got to create a windsock from string and paper. It was a very interesting session!
