P5 Minibeast Day

Today P5 had an action-packed day as they celebrated their ‘Minibeast Day’. They started by making a mask, then completed a hunt for minibeasts with Catherine from RSPB. After that they painted clothes pegs to look like dragonflies and made gliders in the shape of different bugs. They also participated in a ‘Beetle Drive’, tested their gliders outside and made lots of yummy snacks such as grape caterpillars, a wormery and a dragonfly. To end the day they made minibeasts by scratching at black foil and ate some delicious snacks. This was definitely the quietest part of the day!
