P4G on Minibeast Day
P4G have had a super day! Our first activities involved making bee hive prints with bubble wrap, toilet roll tube bees and butterflies and peg and lollipop stick dragonflies. After break we went on a Minibeast Hunt with Catherine from RSPB. She told us lots of great facts about all the minibeasts we caught. Next we had our beetle drive - what a great game! After lunch we made insect gliders, scratch minibeasts and insect masks. We also decorated minibeast biscuits and made grape caterpillars. Then we were allowed to play with our food - we had to make a minibeast on our plates before we were allowed to eat them. We should all sleep well tonight!
