P4B and P4G visited Carrick Museum today to learn more about their new World War 2 topic.
The children were learning lots about evacuation and rationing.
We sorted foods that would have been rationed, cut and used rationing coupons to buy clothes and looked at some rationing books.
We also tried on different helmets used in World War 2, studied different gasmasks that children and babies used, and even looked inside an Evacuee's suitcase!
