P1 Miss McIlwaine went on a Shape hunt around the classroom and around the playground and play area. We went looking for squares, rectangles, circles and triangles, talking about what we know about these shapes as we went.
We discovered that there weren’t as many triangles to be found in the classroom but more outside!!
We also realised we have to be careful when looking for squares and rectangles as they both have 4 sides, but ask us how we have learned to recognise a square!
Even though we noticed it getting colder, we still managed to smile and stay shipshape!
