Oakfield Quiz team crowned Carrick Champions

Carrickfergus Road Safety Committee hosted the local primary schools ‘Road Safety Quiz’ on Wednesday 25th January 2017. For the second year in a row Oakfield Primary School team scooped first prize amidst stiff competition from six other local primary schools. The event was co-ordinated by Isobel Day (Road Safety Committee) and PSNI Constable David Maguire. School Principal, Mr George McCluskey, commented on how well the team had worked together and he praised them for their excellent knowledge of road safety matters. The Oakfield team will represent Carrickfergus in the Northern Ireland Final.
