Nursery and P6 visit Carrickfergus Manor

Today was a very special day as it was our first visit to meet the residents of Carrickfergus Manor, as we begin our intergenerational partnership with them.

A group of children from nursery along with their P6 buddies enjoyed meeting and greeting the residents. We had fun saying nursery rhymes, singing and participating in action rhymes. We even got to go in the lift! It was so lovely to see everyone smiling and enjoying each other’s company. Huge thanks to everyone at Carrickfergus Manor for making us feel so welcome. We are really looking forward to visiting again soon.
