November Fun in Mrs Wylie’s Nursery Class
We had ‘snow’ much fun in November!
The cold snap of weather provided lots of learning opportunities for us. We enjoyed going on a hunt for frozen leaves and ice! We experienced first hand freezing and melting! We thought it was very exciting but a bit sad watching the sun melt the ice. We also discovered that adding warm water to the ice melts it quicker!
We welcomed our grown-ups for our ‘Happy Healthy Kids’ stay and play and our P6 buddies for leaf identification and threading fun!
We constructed some of the world’s famous buildings and learnt about Van Gogh’s Starry Night painting. Look out for our amazing representations in the assembly hall!
We have become quite the experts at cutting up fruit and have progressed to peeling oranges! We found it a bit tricky but practice makes perfect!
