Last week pupils from P5McM enjoyed a visit from some members of the Northern Ireland Fire Service. They talked about fire hazards in our homes (such as candles, electricity and cooking appliances), as well as how to keep ourselves safe (by using a smoke alarm and having a good bedtime routine). The pupils then braved the cold and rain to have a quick look at the lovely new fire engine they brought!
