Nursery - Learning and laughing!
Everyone was really happy to be back after the Easter break. It has been a short but action packed week! We welcomed Mr Hullabaloo to Oakfield and had great fun learning more about Spring and the farm through drama and singing. We especially loved retelling and recounting the story of Jack and the beanstalk. The huge giant really amused us!
The sun shone for us to engage and enjoy some gardening with Gary! We planted vegetables and edible flowers in our boat outside. We made sure they were well watered before we left nursery today and must remember to look after them until they are fully grown. We also planted sunflower seeds in pots. They are carefully tucked away in our classrooms but we will be able to take them home when they begin to grow.
We are outside in all weathers but we are looking forward to the weather getting warmer so that we can spend more time outside in our amazing outdoor space.
