We have been learning all about birds. We can name the birds that visit our nursery garden and have been developing our early maths skills and language by counting them and describing their size. We enjoyed putting feeders on the trees and watching the birds enjoy the treats. We even made bird seed pizzas and soon learnt the squirrels like these too! We made birds nests and painted birds on our path.
We celebrated the year of the snake and learnt facts about Chinese New Year. Our Chinese restaurant was very popular, serving up some delicious meals!
We continued to develop our hand strength and fine motor skills by using tweezers to lift the cheerios and chopsticks to with the rice and noodles.
We once again enjoyed our sessions with Jo Jingles and Poppin Plilates. We also welcomed Coach Jay for Fundamental Movement fun! A group of us visited Carrickfergus Manor with our P6 buddies. We really enjoyed meeting our senior friends and had lots of fun with action rhymes. We are looking forward to visiting again in a few weeks.
