We had great fun adding food colouring to water and pouring it into our containers. These were left in the freezer overnight. There was so much excitement this morning when our predictions were proved correct. The liquid water was now solid ice. We enjoyed taking the ice out of the containers. We watched as the heat of our classroom melted the ice back to coloured water. We noticed that the thinner ice melted quicker! Budding scientists in the making!
